Speakers 23rd March

For School Academic Leaders

Principals, Academic Heads, Heads of Teaching & Learning and Heads of Curriculum and/or Assessment from international schools across the Middle East:

  • Identified different types of learning loss as they calculated how to do the best by students facing a mix of internally and externally validated summative assessments
  • Considered how to support portfolio building to supplement accrediting their skills and talents
  • Worked out long-term solutions for raising attainment over the next 5 years
  • Decided what hybrid learning models they would retain, replace and remove post-pandemic
  • Concluded methods that improve validity and reliability of assessments and more robust and valuable formative assessment and feedback methods
  • Debated the possibilities for a more personalised delivery of the curriculum using intelligent adaptive learning models

The conference agenda was made up of a mix of presentations and panel debates for inspiration and “video-on” workshops and roundtable discussions for interaction and collaboration.

The event also facilitated networking via break-out rooms and 1-to-1 meetings. This was all delivered via our event platform, Swapcard.

Series Testimonials

I thought the format was excellent. I found it very valuable, I really enjoyed myself. I really liked the flipped concept. It was great to have the freedom to choose, to tap in and out of sessions before joining the roundtables at the main event. My favourite sessions were [Kate Griggs] Made By Dyslexia, [Mike Lambert] Dubai College and the [Pirjo Suhonen's] double flipped learning case study from Finland
